The Apostle Paul's letter to the Philippians was written while he was in prison. From a human standpoint, as a prisoner, he didn't have much to be happy about. At times we all find ourselves in circumstances that are unpleasant and difficult. How should we respond? Paul has great news for his friends in Philippi and for us. As Christians, regardless of what we face in life we can experience joyful gospel living. Paul found great joy in the advancement of the gospel to those outside of Christ. He also rejoiced that the gospel was at work in his own life!
